Hotel Phønix Hjørring is also a place for families. So, if you and your family in need of a small getaway, this is the package for you. You as parents can relax while others make the beds and serve the food for you. You only need to focus on your family. Staying at a hotel is also vacation for the parents.

This short stay includes a trip to the North Sea Oceanarium and dining at restaurant Bone’s in Hjørring. You decide yourself how you want the day to be planned, but we propose the following:

You start the day by driving to the North Sea Oceanarium which has plenty of experiences for children e.g. play areas, large tanks with fish (including a large sunfish), and small shops with toys and something to eat.
After an eventful morning and noon you can check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Maybe a nap is needed? Then you can visit the large shopping centre Metropol or the shopping street in Hjørring and do some shopping. Maybe you can find a playground?

When you begin to feel hungry, you can visit restaurant Bone’s and stuff yourselves with spareribs.

Lastly, you will return to the hotel and maybe watch a movie on our smart tv’s with Chromcast before bedtime. The next morning, your will start the day by eating breakfast in our traditional, Danish breakfast buffet.

This short stay can with advantage be combined with our short stay to Rubjerg Knude which is also an experience worth seeing for the whole family.
